The clone

For some time now I’ve suspected Wilder Bedgood is more of a clone than a product of Mike and I’s shared DNA. A few times I’ve caught a glimpse of what I thought may be a resemblance to me … But it seemed more hallucination from sleep deprivation than anything else. Until today! Alas, today something has changed and Wilder looks like my baby pictures. I’m kind of relieved as I was beginning to think I had, indeed, been part of a Mike Bedgood regeneration effort to sire a team of miniMikes with the mission of spreading the love of all things Mississippi State, 80s metal and Apple. A scary future that would present.
The truth is that who Wilder looks like is irrelevant. But just for giggles I’ll present Exhibit A- my baby pic as proof. And continue to hope Wilder has enough of me in him to enjoy something other than Iron Maiden.

About Amanda Jean Elliott

I am a joyful believer in Jesus Christ, a wife, a mother, a sister, a writer, a business owner and ordained minister. I love my son Wilder and the wild life that comes with a 6-year-old who has the energy of a pack of wolves and a husband who has twice that energy. I also love naps (a lot). I teach Sunday School at a spirit-filled church and it is my prayer for every man, woman and child to know without doubt that we have a good good Father in heaven and whatever is not right on this earth, He will make right in this life or the next.

I definitely see it! I’m sure you are glad to see some of you in him. 🙂
